William Hill have opened the betting on whether David Cameron will make a massive u turn on his pledge to stand-down before the next election, following speculation that he may just fight another General Election campaign. As it stands, William Hill are offering 6/4 that David Cameron contests the next Election as leader of the Conservative Party and 7/2 that he stands, and wins, a third term as Prime Minister.
“Mr Cameron appears to be popular across the board and he could well be the Conservative Party’s best hope of winning a third term,” said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams. “As a result he could be persuaded to fight a further election.”
