Bookmakers William Hill have installed Caroline Lucas as odds-on favourite to succeed Natalie Bennett as leader of the Greens.
William Hill make her 4/6 favourite (representing 60% chance) to regain the leadership, but have Amelia Womack as 3/1 second favourite, with Shahrar Ali the 5/1 third favourite.
'Our initial thoughts are that this looks like a three horse race, but political leadership campaigns are notoriously unpredictable – just ask Andy Burnham and Yvette Cooper, who lost out to 200/1 outsider, Jeremy Corbyn for the Labour leadership' said William Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
