Headland & Harbour - Hartlepool UA - Peter Jackson (Labour) resigned to focus on his work as electrical engineer and family. He was first elected as Liberal Democrat in 2003 for the Throston ward, but was reelected as Labour in 2004 and switched to Headland & Harbour after ward boundaries changed in 2012. He was a Cabinet member Performance, Neighbourhoods and Policy.
